ELECTION RESULTS RELEASED
White, Snelling take seats on ES School Board
Unofficial General Municipal Election results, with all precincts reporting, have been released by Clay County Board of Elections Commissioners’ Chairman Darla Wierzbicki.
Of the 179,294 registered voters in Clay County, only 12.38% — 22,191 — chose to cast a ballot on April 2.
Traci White and Troy Snelling will take seats on Excelsior Springs School District #40 board, receiving 11,006 (23.23%) and 10,228 (21.59%) votes respectively. Russell Wenz received 444 votes, or 21.64%, and Kristi Shewell took 394 votes, or 19.21%. The top three vote getters in the Clay County Health Board Trustee race were Debbie Florido, 11,006 (23.23%), Courtney Cole, 10,228 (21.59%) and Emma Shankland, 9,135 (19.28%). Also in the race were
Jim Dixson, who received 8,723 votes (18.41%) and Dave Ferrara, with 8,278 votes, or 17.48%.
