The Good Samaritan Center received a $500 donation from A Total Insurance Agency Inc. Jim Rice and Missouri Farm & Home Mutual Insurance, through their Bluebird Project. The Excelsior Springs Police Department, Shop With a Cop program also received a $500 donation that was matched by Missouri Farm & Home Mutual Insurance of Richmond. The money comes from Missouri Farm & Home Mutual Insurance Company’s Bluebird Project. “We absolutely hate to see such a need for our children, but we are so thankful that we have the ability to help. As a company, and as individuals, it pains us to see such a need in our local community, but we hope that our donations help with the needs and comfort of the children in need. We hope that it helps to spur others to help, as well,” said Missouri Farm & Home CEO Jimmy Carter. The Bluebird Project was established in 2020 as an effort to help Missouri children.
