Jesse James, Suite 8 Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 Strack, a military veteran, first responder, mentor and coordinator for the program, explained the Battle Within partners with clinicians to teach those with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) how to manage their anxiety through various therapies with an interactive, hands-on approach. “The Battle Within is an organization formed by men and women who have served, who have been there, who know what it’s like to give, return and readjust,” Strack said. “We’ve felt the exhaustion and have seen our home lives change.
