When it comes to varsity boys soccer, success has become an expectation at Excelsior Springs, particularly postseason success. The Tigers are looking to match or exceed a level of success the past two seasons that has included back-toback third-place finishes in the Class 2 state tournament. They will look to fill the voids left by their graduating class as they pursue that goal. Coach Zac Ganzer is confident his group will find ways to fill those voids and continue the program’s success. “We have been fortunate that we have had players that have just been waiting (for) their time while there have been very talented players playing ahead of them,” Ganzer said.
